Teacher Hannah

Teacher Hannah is a dedicated ESL educator with several years of experience teaching young learners, teens, and adults across diverse language programs. She specializes in General English, Cambridge Exam Preparation, and academic English skills. She holds a BA in English from Yangon University of Foreign Languages and has completed professional TESOL training with the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) through a U.S. Embassy sponsored OPEN Program. She is also Cambridge TKT Modules 1–3 and TKT Young Learners qualified.
In addition to her classroom practice, Teacher Hannah actively contributes to the wider ELT community. She has presented as a conference speaker at the MMELT Annual Conference 2025 and participated as an exhibitor at the ASEAN TeachingEnglish Online Conference 2025. She also served as a judge at the 2nd Private International Education Pwal in Yangon, recognizing excellence in educational practice. Furthermore, she successfully completed a six-month Community Lead Program with the OPEN Alumni Community of Practice, where she supported teachers, facilitated professional discussions, and shared TESOL-related resources. Her teaching philosophy centers on learner engagement, meaningful communication, and building students’ academic confidence.

Teacher Mary is a dedicated ESL teacher at Ivy Young Learners School, passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment for young learners. As an enthusiastic and responsible educator, she focuses on supporting students’ language development through interactive activities, clear guidance and encouragement, helping the students grow both academically and personally.
She holds a General Educational Development (GED) Diploma with a credit score and an Executive Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). In addition, she has obtained local teaching certifications in Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) and International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). Beyond classroom teaching, she is passionate about improving her teaching practice and staying engaged in professional learning. Her teaching philosophy centers on learner engagement, practical language use, creating a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated and confident to express themselves in English.
